Slumberkins Trade-In Event 2024

We invite you to take part in the Slumberkins Trade-in Event. Send in your used or unused Slumberkins to Kidizen from 2/23/24 12am PT thru 3/23/24 12pm PT for trade-in and get a discount towards your next Slumberkins purchase at slumberkins.com. Your discount will be sent to you within 7 days from the day we receive and then process your item(s) through. 

The discounts you'll receive in exchange for your Slumberkins products:
Tier 1: $15 / Kins and Snugglers + matching book
Tier 2: $10 / Kins and Snugglers without book
Tier 3: $5 / Minis

 

 Who is conducting the Slumberkins Trade-in Event?

Kidizen, Inc. is conducting the Slumberkins Trade-in Event in partnership with Slumberkins. Kidizen owns, manages, and operates the kidizen.com online marketplace. Kidizen will maintain all records related to items received as part of the Slumberkins Trade-in Event.

What items can I send?

We accept any Slumberkins that are in new or gently used condition. All books must have the matching plush. All items must be free of excessive wear or damage such as stains, tears, holes, matting, or pilling. All items must not be dirty or have any odors. All items must have Slumberkins brand tag.

 

What condition do the items need to be?

In order to receive a Slumberkins discount, items must be in new or gently used condition, and be odor-free. We do not accept brands other than Slumberkins, damaged items, or items that are dirty or matted. Items must be free of stains, holes, tears, pilling, dirt, or odors. All items must have Slumberkins brand tag.

Items received that are not in acceptable condition will be donated to one of Kidizen’s partner charities and will not be returned to the sender.

 

How many items can I send?

You can send as many items as you’d like, so long as they are Slumberkins and meet the condition requirements stated above.

 

What should I use for packaging?

We strongly encourage you to reuse any packaging materials you have from shipments you’ve previously received because it’s the most eco-friendly option! Do you have an Amazon poly mailer or box? Perfect! Just be sure to remove the old shipping label or place your Kidizen shipping label so that it covers the prior label.  

 

How do I get a shipping label?

Once you fill out the trade-in form, head to your email for further instructions. You can purchase a label through any online provider, such as Sendle or PirateShip, or through the Post Office.

When filling out the trade-in form, please make sure your email address is correct and doesn't contain typos.

To ensure we have the information needed to process your trade-ins, we ask that you print out a copy of your trade-in form that was emailed to you after submitting your trade-in request and include it in the package. If you don’t have a printer, you can simply write your name and trade-in ID (provided in the email) on a piece of paper and include it with your items.

What is the cutoff for sending in my Slumberkins items?

The Slumberkins Trade-in Event runs from 2/23/24 12am PT thru 3/23/24 12pm PT. Please make sure that all items are in the mail by March 23rd, 2024. 

 

If my items are donated, is the donation tax deductible?

Kidizen, Inc. is not a charitable organization, so your clothing donation is not tax deductible.

 

What happens to the items once they are received by Kidizen?

Once we receive the items, we will match up the name and trade-in ID with the information you provided in the trade-in form. We will then provide Slumberkins with the information needed to issue you the discount codes. You will be emailed the discount codes within 7 days of the day we process your trade-in. Please note that the email will come from Slumberkins so make sure to search your email and/or spam folders if you have not received an email.

 

What do I receive in exchange for sending the items?

Slumberkins is offering a discount towards your next Slumberkins purchase at slumberkins.com for items received that are in the accepted condition mentioned above. The discounts you'll receive in exchange for your Slumberkins products:
Tier 1: $15 / Kins and Snugglers + matching book
Tier 2: $10 / Kins and Snugglers without book
Tier 3: $5 / Minis

 

When do I receive my Discount Codes?

Your discount will be emailed to you within 7 days from the date we process your trade-in. Please note only 1 code can be used per purchase so when you fill out the trade-in form, you will be asked if you would like one or separate discount codes if you are sending in multiple items.
